Samir Mehta: “It ruled.”

My favorite of the series - this one really hit the biggest themes that I care about the most - aging, change, loss. What a beautiful franchise.

Evie Totty: “It ruled.”

I was bawling at the end. And probably would have done so no matter Woody's choice. Reeves' character was a hoot!

Scott Hardie: “It was ok.”

Much like with the previous film, I feel bad for picking on this when everybody else seems to have loved it. I guess it just didn't click for me. I've seen each Toy Story film only once, so I don't feel a deep connection to the characters the way that some families do after watching them over and over again. I liked a lot of the movie, from the running jokes (Buttercup wanting to send Dad to jail) to the awesome animation (compare this to the first movie; the difference is insane). And I applaud the filmmakers for telling a story about something meaningful, rather than just copying the same adventure over and over again to sell tickets. But my reaction is still basically a shrug.
