See, I thought that hot dog looked disgusting. Nice Kosher dog, bun and ketchup... simple yet elegant. I also prefer big, floppy, greasy pizza to deep dish, though I am starting to like thin crust a lot.

Getting lost on the way to an airport is a TC get-together tradition now, since it also happened when Scott, D. R. and I met up for Anna's wedding.

Anna Gregoline | June 20, 2006
Chicago specializes in lost airport areas.

I'm sorry I missed out on this meet-up, I must be a dunce because I didn't know it was happening.

Erik: Your pics came out great. I still love the one through the binoculars. The link-conversion thing doesn't happen when there's an img tag in use. (Remember the trouble it caused you on the "W. 2004" discussion? I turned it off.) Thanks for the fun day.

Jackie: Congrats again! It was a blast. Thank you for putting together a great party.

Hair: I know; it's still weird to me too. I'm growing it out by special request of my last girlfriend; maybe it will help me get the next one, who knows.

Hot dogs: Chicago-style isn't my thing, since the two things I normally like on a hot dog, ketchup and cheese, will get you glared at if you ask for them on one in Chicago. I've heard of a Kansas City style with barbecue sauce, chopped onion, and lots of melted cheddar, but I have no idea if the restaurant simply made it up. Then again, bbq is popular there... Anyway, other than the lavish feast at the wedding reception, the one disappointing part of the trip was the food; nearly every meal was a letdown. Maybe I picked bad restaurants, or maybe I'm just spoiled by the fancy-schmancy eateries around here.

Photos: Ok, my turn.

Starting the bus tour of Chicago with Erik. We were so full of naive enthusiasm back then...

In the Sears Tower Skydeck.

Same. Why didn't we make bad jokes about being higher than the entire city of Chicago?

Already exhausted at the end of the first hour of the bus tour, and we still had another ninety minutes to go.

Meeting Lorraine Bracco at the Borders at Water Tower Place. I just happened to be killing a few minutes there when she came in for a short Q&A with fans and to sign copies of her memoirs.

Ok, so Erik already shared one at this same angle. We were tired.

Getting dressed for the wedding.

Kelly Lee, my date, waiting for me to get dressed.

At the reception.

Jackie and Will enjoy their first dance. (Something tells me Jackie can share a much better photo of this moment.)

Jackie and me reunited. I'm not that drunk, officer, honest.

Kelly and Jackie together.

My miscellaneous tourist photos of the city:

Great photos! It was weird viewing them though, especially the Sears Tower and area around the Board of Trade, since I'm inside at my desk in the Federal Reserve Building as I type this. =)

Jackie, you looked beautiful!

NIce pictures, but, since I'm who I am, I have to say this...

Jacquelyn (I don't think I am on a Jackie basis with you!)...are you checking out Kelly's cleavage in that last picture??? :P

OK, I'll go back to the gutter I crawled out of. Have a great day! ;)

Thanks for the compliments.

So is it "Jackie Mason" then, or some other spelling like a middle initial?

My husband couldn't even talk about the terrorist plot. I asked why and he said "Gee, it affects me a little bit to think of a building a block away from my wife blowing up."

Sorry! =P
