Well, the article says its caused by the placenta rubbing off on the puppy during birth, so it would almost have to be something that will go away. Unless dog placenta has powers and abilities far beyond the reasoning of man*!

*By man, it should be assumed that Aaron is speaking of men, women, womyn, transvestities, transsexuals, transylvanians, eunuchs, hermaphrodites, chicks, dudes, freaks, losers, jocks, nerds, geeks, and all of the other varied representatives of the genus Homo...yes, including cavemen!

I don't know, dude. I think cavemen might have done some thinking about dog birthing. I mean, they designed Windows 98, so they were obviously capable of some rudimentary reasoning.
