Those three years after you turn eighteen are kind of annoying. You are old enough to be considered an adult, but not yet old enough to do things with those just a little older. Don't worry though, it'll all be over soon.

As for the "kids" growing up too fast, I can't agree more. I see it all over Las Vegas. This town is very sexually charged. I was about seventeen before I seriously started thinking about sex, before that it was just video games and hanging out with the kids down the block. There are plenty of times when I wish that I could just go back to those days when I had no worries.

Some kids are still kids... For every one that was out there grinding on the dance floor, there was another one at home playing games or having a sleepover with a friend.

In this modern age of absent parents and dominant mass media, growing up fast and acting adult too early are cool. It won't stay that way.
