You've probably heard me tell this story before, but it's one of the weirdest things that's ever happened to me. In high school, I liked to take a nap every day after school, usually because I stayed up so damn late at night. On one particular day, I was expecting a phone call from my friend Jason Ward in Chicago, but I was so sleepy that I went to bed anyway, at about 3:30. When I woke up, the room was dark, and I suddenly realized that I was sitting in my desk chair with the phone held up to my head! I looked at the clock and it said 5:45. I realized that the person on the phone was Jason, and I asked him how long I had been talking. He said about one hour! I asked if I had sounded normal, and he said yes. I swear I don't remember talking to him. So yes, you can have conversations in your sleep. :-)

Saything embarassing things in my sleep has never been a problem... it's what comes out when I'm awake.
