Marshall is one of my favorite films because of him.

I was shocked to hear about it. He was so young and energetic and seemed like he had many more great movies in him. I liked him as T'Challa, but I was especially impressed with him as Jackie Robinson. It wasn't a great movie, but he was great in it, in a very difficult part.
I can't help but be curious about what will come of two of his future projects. He co-wrote Expatriate and I can see that one being finished as a sort of tribute to him. And Black Panther II could go on without T'Challa by promoting his sister Shuri into the lead role; she has been Black Panther for a long period in the comics. In full costume, his face is covered, so a stuntman playing T'Challa could even appear in an opening action sequence that sets up the character's death and transition. It would require a deft touch not to come off as crass, but Marvel seems to have had the golden touch in recent years, so maybe they can pull it off.
I just added Boseman's other films to my watchlist. I want to see everything he's done! Well, maybe not Gods of Egypt. Nobody's perfect.
