A study suggests that frequent shopping prolongs life. This is good news for older men apparently but the bad news is Sarah Jessica Parker is probably immortal.

Music......though ingredients to cook with are a close second

I don't buy much and when I do it's online, but the weekly shopping that I must do is at the grocery. I used to get so sick of buying groceries; I'd put it off for days until I was eating out for every meal, forever feeling like I have to buy them again, which just made the feeling worse. I'd get bored of each store and flit around between them, just to keep the chore from being utterly boring.

What changed all that was making it about savings. When Kelly and I were forced to reduce our budget, I started hunting for deals and hoarding coupons, and it almost became a game to save as much as I could. We've bought groceries at the same store every Friday for a year now (Winn-Dixie) without getting bored yet, because the focus is on what new items they have on sale and what 2-for-1 specials they're running. We routinely walk out of there paying half the posted price for our entire purchase, and the posted price is already pretty low. The staff even knows us by now and picks out coupons for us. They haven't just saved us a fortune in cash; they've saved my sanity when it comes to this weekly chore.

Yeah, saving on groceries is kind of a fun game.
