The Great Pirate Base Image Swap

As I mentioned elsewhere, Pirate Paradise's launch over a holiday weekend limited me to a mere 10 base images for the pirates. There are already 74 pirates in the game after the first week, so the same images have been used over and over again.

I do plan to add additional pirate images from time to time in the future, but you shouldn't have to wait to start seeing some variety in your crews just because the image providers had technical difficulties. I've just added an additional 15 base images as part of the "launch set," and they deserve to be in use quickly.

So, I hereby make a one-time offer to all players: Have a look over this map of all 25 available images. If you would like to change one or more of your pirates to use a different image from the set below, please send me a message (here or in private) with the name of the pirate that you'd like to change and the image that you prefer to use.



This is only about changing the image; you can edit the name yourself, and change the combat skills with a rank promotion. This offer is good until midnight on the night of Saturday 1/14. Image changes will be retroactive; the pirate will appear in his (or her) new form in all past battles as well as present and future ones.
