Like Beer/ale/etc there are way tooo many local brewed rootbeers for any one to be considered the best . As a National brand A&W is a better product than say Budweiser but that's not saying much. my present favorite is Maine Root

Barq's here. Other national brands seem weak beside it. I suppose I wouldn't drink Dad's even if I still lived in Chicago but I still have fond memories.

Root beer aside: What the hell is it with brands using "real cane sugar"? In root beer, it sucks, okay? They use corn syrup in other soda for a reason.
