I guess healing requires sleep
by Tony Peters on September 30, 2008

I am exhausted...10 hours of sleep each night broken only twice for meds and yet I feel the need to sleep all day....I can barely stay awake for 2-3 hours before I fall asleep in my chair. Xbox doesn't help neither does my computer. Pain seems to have died down though I get swelling that aches if I spend too much time on crutches. My animals seem to be worried about me the cats keep waking me in addition to my GSP licking my face every hour or so just to go out and do her business

Wait. The Garden State Parkway is licking your face?! You just can't trust those New Jersey throughways!! :)
Seriously, though, good to hear that the recuperation is going well. Sleep is good for healing! :) Sleep well, good buddy!

The end result is I broke my right ankle. It's swollen a bit today and likely needs surgery I have an ortho appointment on monday and hopefully surgery on tuesday. Go »
Mornings....
It's cool today. As I pull on my jacket, the leather creaks as the zipper closes. The engine, a bit reluctant to turn over in the brisk morning air, settles into a rumble as I finish donning my gear. Go »
Driving in europe.
OK one of the more enjoyable part of my job is the fact that I get to drive overseas. Part of this is due to the fact that I have had an international diving permit for 7 years now and another part is that I am actually used to driving on the wrong side of the road. (3 years in Japan). Go »

True to my nature I only ever seem to be happy when I have too much on my plate...I'm reading 2 books and working on an online Photoshop CS3 class (I really want my Adobe Certified Expert before I retire). However the biggest impact on my life has been my wife and I starting P90X...we Go »
