For those of you who never got tired of the yeti whacking the penguin with the oversized icicle, this game's for you.

My personal best is a mere 932 1161 1458 1783, and I've witnessed an impressive 1758.

Amy Austin | June 21, 2005
Ed should enjoy this... clearly a game for cat-haters. So far, I've managed a whopping 1103 1446 -- having a hard time imaging 1758!!!

Scott Hardie | June 21, 2005
I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. The player's first shot went right into the spikes, but on his second shot, BAM! 1758 feet.

Amy Austin | June 21, 2005
Hahaha... yeah, the first shot into spikes is pretty disappointing -- I think 47 24 17 has been the weakest, but I haven't been paying as much attention to that... ;-D

Kind of fun to go to another window and just listen to the cannon in the background... ;-)

1500 1688 2289! What a complete waste of time. I like it.

Amy Austin | June 21, 2005
LOL!!!

Michael Paul Cote | June 21, 2005
After only a brief time, I made it to 958 - I will try again.

1194! Poor kitty!

2658. Good luck topping that. People here in my office quit playing this game because I got that score. Just happen to get some good bounces right off the start and it kept going for quite some time. The closest I've come to matching it was a little over 2300.

Amy Austin | June 21, 2005
HOLY SHIT!!! ;-D ("People" not including Jerry and Russ, eh, Mike???) ;-DDD

1392. I just started a new job and now I have a stupid new flash game addiction >:o
Well played, Clerks

Amy Austin | June 22, 2005
Okay, so I gotta' know, Mike... what is the ideal trajectory -- or do you even remember what it was set at?! ;-D

I sent it to a friend, and he said it reminded him of this:

(Hadn't seen, so thought I'd share... I know there are fans here.)

It varies. I was shooting at about 24.5 to 25 angle at full power. The shot that I did the best with hit 3 bombs in a row which put the kitten at about 400 feet of altitude. Then I just got lucky and it hit several more bombs to keep it going.

Amy Austin | June 22, 2005
Hahaha... cool. That's what I've been using pretty consistently (24.5-25 at full power) -- but have gotten nowhere near that lucky!!! ;-D

Dave Stoppenhagen | June 22, 2005
I just saw a co-worker hit 3261

Amy Austin | June 22, 2005
OHHHH!!!

Edit: WOO HOO!!! Just got a 2,308 with almost 300 ft of altitude on some OMFG explosives -- yeah!!!

Steve Dunn | June 23, 2005
I got 11.

Beat that!

Amy Austin | June 23, 2005
HAHAHAHAHA... I think that's as unbeatable as 3261, Steve!

Edit: I just tried and got a 12 -- are you *sure* it was 11, 'cuz I don't see it gettin' any more pitiful than that!!! ;-DDD

2nd edit: HA! I did it -- I tied you... but I'd be hella' impressed to see a 10 or a 9!!!

Steve Dunn | June 24, 2005
It's tough. One false move, and you're looking at a 21 or a 24.

Amy, I admire your competitive fire, but in a desperate bid for temporary dominance in a goo-related game, I must grab credit for being the FIRST person to score 11.

Michael Paul Cote | June 24, 2005
2042 and still trying. I also tied 11. How about trying for accuracy - spikes with no bounce - I got that at 43 feet

Kris Weberg | June 24, 2005
Since the objects are random, a relatively low angle -- Mike E.'s choice, for example -- works best, since you get that nice "skipping" effect

All other things being equal, though, shouldn't a 45-degree angle have the best effect over a long enough run?

Hmm.

Amy Austin | June 24, 2005
Hehehe... yes, Steve, it really is tough. And don't worry -- I already recognize your domination of the low end of the spectrum! ;-DDDDD
