While on the cardstock model board today I was looking at a discussion about movies and gaming interests. They were speaking about the films House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark. One of the members posted the following, (link)

Now I wonder, could what this person posted be true and this is why those movies did so poorly? If true, what more does this say about Hollywood?

I shudder to think that this Uwe Boll is acutally that good of a con-artist which means we're really in trouble as far as movies are concerned.

If you wonder about deliberately producing a bad movie to make money, watch the movie "The Producers" . I know the Zero Mostel/Gene Wilder version is good and I've heard that the Nathan Lane/Matthew Broderick version is well done also.

I'll say this: Uwe Boll knows how to mount a great publicity stunt. (link)

For someone who allegedly makes such shit-films (I haven't seen, only heard... but I do believe it), he sure gets a lot of pretty good names, too...

If he ever gets Heather Graham to star in one of his films, I fear the very universe will implode.

I've watched them on DVD and that's the only way I'll ever see one of his films, but yeah you're right, he gets some pretty big names to do them.
