That's a really really tough question! Most movies, I think, would be diminished by a sequel...
I'd like to see Spaceballs 2: The Quest for More Money (or whatever it was supposed to be called), but I have my doubts we'll ever see that happen. Or maybe History of the World Part 2. I have Mel Brooks on the brain right now...

Jackie, are you thinking of The Princess Bride as being a half-assed Neverending Story sequel? Because Fred Savage is in that one. :) If so I imagine the legions of rabid fans of The Princess Bride would object to that characterization. I would get the two confused myself easily enough though... thanks imdb...
Umm.. posted this as Darrell a second ago, sorry, I've got us both permanently logged on on different browsers on my home computer...

The Princess Bride isn't a half-assed anything, thank you very much (foaming at mouth).

As I said before the server crash.. I like Princess Bride, I just haven't seen it too many times and couldn't immediately place that that was the one with Kevin Arnold in it... and I apologize for the implication that anyone other than myself could have been nutty enough to have gotten that mixed up. And, I still like the reference to "foaming at the mouth".
And, I guess I better go try to do some card trading again to get some decent numbers on my left and right sides...

Since Hollywood keeps giving us sequels to movies that weren't very good in the first place (and sequels to those sequels), I figured it was time to ask: If you could have a sequel made to any movie, what would you choose, and what would your sequel be like?
Be cautious about spoilers, please.
