A panel of experts (a group of listeners to Britain's BBC 6) have determined the worst duet in history. Obviously this group has no credentials or necessarily any credibility and history is such a long time. But that's a pretty good vote if schmaltz makes a song bad. I would have voted for a song that would be the musical equivalent of a mosquito in my ear (Bowie and Jagger duet not a bad pick).

Without trying to seem overly paranoid, I've always been just a little suspicious of Wikipedia entries since they can be easily manipulated. A student has created a program that tracks just who is making changes to Wikipedia; adding exaggerated claims or deleting sections with negative connotations. Go »Let Loose The Pigeons!
I got a phone call today from my Service Coordinator of Prince George's County officially welcoming me and my daughter, Olivia, into the Autism Waiver program - a state funded program intended for families with an autistic child offering funds for state approved services such as Aqua therapy, Occupational community trips, Speech therapy and even respite for Brenda and I. Last Thursday, Brenda and I went to the final preseason football game of the Washington Redskins. The game was less than meaningful (as is the nature of preseason football) because rarely do actual starters play in the final preseason game. But the tickets and parking were free (gift from a friend), and it gave Brenda and I an opportunity to have an evening for just the two of us, a rarity for most parents. Go »

Personally, I would have picked the *other* McCartney duet (with Michael Jackson) -- have you ever heard that one??? That song is pure, unadulterated Velveeta cheese food product, and the dopier/more annoying tune by far. The way more ubiquitous quality of "Ebony & Ivory" is the only reason I can imagine for it getting beat out. Just my opinion.
